What's Metaverse ?
Some of us maybe already familiar with the word 'metaverse'. We might already heard it more than once. So honestly, what's metaverse. Metaverse is a virtual world or space that were created for people to interact with one another or experienced many things in a virtual world. To dive into this virtual world, users need to have for example a VR (Virtual Reality) headset. This VR headset will help the users to experience the virtual world. Users can do many things in this virtual world, such as playing VR games, interact with one another or meeting up with a lot of people, selling items or whatever they want. They can also dressing like what ever they want and do a lot of things.
Some people are speculating that 'metaverse' might become something big in the future. Because, it can help many people to interact without need to be presents. That's why people many people begin to speculating the possibility of metaverse.
The Founder
The founder of metaverse is Mark Zuckerberg, from the company of Facebook. The comany itself actually change their name from 'Facebook' to 'Meta'. Mark actually already own a company for VR technology, that is oculus. Oculus is the company that provide service for VR games for people whos owning a VR headset called oculus.
So now, how will it affect us in the future ?
Well to start with, metaverse still not be a thing for now but the possibility it can create and with the technology that keep advancing year by year, metaverse might be a thing in the future. Moreover, the benefit it create to help people to be able to interact and do a lot of activities. For example, people can selling stuff in metaverse by using 3d scanner and transfer the item into the virtual world. There are also a lot of factor why metaverse might be affecting people in the future, which is the adoption. If people can start using this "metaverse" and can actually be benefitted from them, we can actually see many will comes to try it out and use it too. It might be a good thing because what it could actually offer. But then, there are also some consideration why its actually still far from now.
1. The Cost
To be able to enjoy and experience the virtual world in the metaverse, users need to have a virtual headset, but then the problem is located at the price. The price for each and different type of VR headset might be vary, but the average price for it is around $999, which is quite expensive. Although, you could use the cheaper one with the price lower than that, but then it might not be able to offer the "normal functionality" like example the movement sensor or tracking. And not to mention there are also a hidden cost such as controller for the VR headset and etc.

2. The Feasibility
It's hard to predict how we will even will adopt this technology in the first place. There are also a possibilities it might still far away from now. This happen because not every country might be able to adopt with this kind of technology. Moreover, the price for the VR headset is so expensive for other country. So it might need to take a while before it's actually happen, because its not feasible for now.
